We have applied to the Internal Revenue Service to be an IRC 501c(3) tax exempt public charity which supports the needs of children in our community. The Mukilteo Kiwanis Foundation and sister organization Kiwanis Club of Mukilteo support many worthwhile organizations like: Key Club of Kamiak High School, Key Club of Mariner High School, Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County, Special Olympics, Watch D.O.G.S., Mukilteo YMCA, Casino Road Community Center, Boys & Girls Club, Cocoon House, and many other local youth programs and non-profits who help youth.
The Mukilteo Kiwanis Foundation will be organized exclusively for charitable purposes including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended. The Foundation will also fund raise to award scholarships to high school seniors in the Mukilteo School District and Sno-Isle Technical Center, and provide volunteers to serve our community with projects such as Adopt-a-Highway (SR525), National Night Out, Boys & Girls Club, Mukilteo Community Garden, Kiwanis Dictionary Project, and many others.
We hope you also see the same needs in our community and help us support those needs by making a donation. Both small and large donations are welcomed. Whatever you feel you can afford will be greatly appreciated and put to good use to make our community a better place to live.
