Happy Sunday to all!
We had a great meeting last Wednesday morning. Great member turnout and it was great to see some familiar faces we’ve been missing! Also attending were the Lynnwood & Snohomish Clubs for an Interclub, and we will reciprocate with Lynnwood on Thursday, March 26 at 7:00am at their fire station on 44th street. Board members are also reaching out to other clubs for interclubs to get the word out for Casino Night. Corrie West let us know about the fantastic services Sherwood Community Services provides for our disabled loved ones in Snohomish County.
This week we have Shawna Davis from Rosehill Community Center to let us know about her new activities and promote use of Rosehill for events. Beginning last week with Pam Taylor, various Board members will be “greeters” at each meeting and welcome each member and visitor to the meeting. Oran will have double duty of being the greeter and presiding at the meeting. Please plan to attend to support the club and help make the speaker appreciated and welcome. Agenda attached.
Next week at our morning meeting, we will have a short board report following by “Getting to Know You”! I volunteered to give my life story, which should be short! Most importantly, we will have a member meeting this Wednesday to review some Club Bylaw revisions we want to make, and I’ll send out a separate email about those. Most of the changes will be to renumber the different sections after we add a new one.
Please look at the Club Activity section of the agenda, it really is getting full of fun stuff to participate in and attend. Next Sunday, March 1 is Oran’s Packs for Kids fundraiser at Rosehill beginning at 1pm. It is always a fun time, and Howard will be the MC/auctioneer.
Have a great week, and live, love share Kiwanis!
