Happy July 4th Week everyone!
Stay safe, and remember fireworks are illegal within City limits. Go enjoy a professional fireworks display and keep all of your fingers!
Tomorrow at 7:30am, we will hold our July Board meeting and select our Kiwanian of the Month, review the June minutes, Club finances, and look at a DVS grant request. All are invited to meet us at the Y.
The speaker at this week’s meeting will be Mayor Jennifer Gregerson to give us a “State of the City” update. Please find attached this week’s agenda.
In case you missed last week’s meeting, our Pam Taylor has been selected as the “2017 Citizen of the Year”! So well deserved, and after a standing ovation, she was presented with a cool plaque and a big cake! The special community reception is still TBD, possibly August 26 at the Harbour Pointe Senior Living facility.
Lots of birthdays this month and future events, so check out the lists on the agenda.
The 100th PNW DCM will be held August 24 – 27 in Kennewick; see the agenda for the link to register online. We are entitled to 3 registrants for this conference.
Salmon Bake getting into gear: the Taylor’s have found a donor for the Salmon, Debra has confirmed that Pepsi will donate all the pop, but we’ll need about 20 cases of water and lots of plates from Costco. Lots more later.
See you in the am, or Wednesday morning at the golf course. Stay safe!
